2 C heavy cream
1/2 C sweetened condensed milk
2 C sugar
2 C light corn syrup
1/2 C butter

Combine cream and milk and scald.  Combine sugar and syrup in saucepan and bring to a boil over medium heat.  Let mixture boil with lid on for 2 minutes.  Remove lid and add butter.  Gradually add milk mixture, 1 tablespoon at a time, stirring constantly.  Should take about 20 minutes.  Cook until test makes a soft, firm ball in cold water.  Pour into greased pan and refrigerate.
